The Vision
To Provide Holiday Lets in the Morecambe Area that offer more to the Guest Experince than the "Average"
It all started due to Neil, feeling seriously underwhelmed by the options availiable to him when searching for some where to stay in the Morecambe area.
Having fallen for the natural beauty of the surrounding area and a desire to return in the future, the seed had been sown.
Now it was just a case of What & Where.
From Zero to Hero
Reviving History
Unlike the question of the "Chicken & Egg" it was most definately the "Where" that came first.
Whilst on a trip to view a different location, the desire to have an explore lead us to the Poulton area and the Oldest part of Morecambe.
Where we found the empty & unloved cottage, (now known as The Bolt Hole).
Having been empty for two years, and whilst in a sorry state, but still oozing its historic charm - No 4 Stanley Street offered us the perfect blank slate (well paisley and gloss ) to start from.

The Purple Door Collection
After The Bolt Hole came Spa Cottage
Whilst working on The Bolt Hole - The property across the road came to our attention - (mainly due to the Pigeons residing in it.)
With its own private rear yard, a rare thing in this central location, another seed was sown.
The Spa Cottage was conceived along with the concept of The Purple Door Collection.
